Instructor Training Reviews
Sabru Miah - Trained with Mutual Driving School 2012
I became a qualified driving instructor in 2012 with Mutual Driving School.
They are a very reliable driving school and have very professional driving instructors. They have been established for more than 40 years as a driving school, I was referred by a friend of mine who became a driving instructor with them. They are very helpful and help you all the way till you succeed.
Peter Devlin - Mutual Driving School Instructor
I can strongly recommend the driving instructor training provided by Mutual Driving School. Nathan taught me. He was patient and understanding and has an excellent knowledge of what is required to produce a good driving instructor. Great knowledge and many useful tips and hints which I still pass on to my pupils who appreciate them greatly.
Emma Pate - Trained with Mutual Driving School 2010
After joining Red Driving School I soon become disappointed in what I paid for, I wanted to find a more professional driving school. I went to meet Mutual Driving School and soon knew I would enjoy working with them. After my initial driving assessment I had regular training which fitted in around my family commitments.
My instructor was very fair and honest and also made sure I was prepared for my part 2 and part 3, even giving me extra help when needed. Overall I found Mutual Driving School very helpful and supportive and during my training and would always recommend them to anyone wishing to learn to drive or become a driving instructor.
Brian Stevens - Trained with Mutual Driving School 2017
Hi all, my name is Brian Stevens and here is a little story. Let me begin about two years ago I wanted a new career working as a driving instructor. I saw an advert for driving instructors training so I knocked on the door of Mutual Driving School and I was invited inside to meet the team.
They gave me all ins and outs of their business and it is a family run business with a long establishment. There was no pressure for me to go with the company so I walked away to have a think. This was my first mistake. I ended going with a on line company and my second mistake was I paid out a lot of money and I started my course with them but after some time I knew within myself that I was not going to get though the paper work they had sent to me to even get to a part one test. They made this so confusing with lots of form filling and box ticking. So I went back to Mutual and talked with Sam and Graham, they were a great help.
After telling me how silly I was, I said I would start again with them BUT I had no money left, ‘no problem they said’. So I started studying again, this time with the correct CDs and not the cheap ones that I got sent in the post by the on line school. I am now having my training with Nathan and he is very skilled and knows his stuff. He is also taking me for my part two and three instruction. I have my part one on the 9th May 2017. It has been a lot of studying but if you are looking to be a driving instructor, no one can study for you. So please people if you want this great career and you are in the London area. Go to Mutual Driving School, you won't go wrong.

My Journey from start to finish was a very enjoyable one. My trainer made the process very professional and great fun but not at the expense of learning.
He was always on hand to deal with an queries along the way and was a phone call away for any additional support I needed. Thanks

I came to Mutual Driving School back in 2012 having been let down by the AA Driving School. After starting my part 2 with them, I felt I wasn’t getting the standard of training I needed and decided to search around online and came across Mutual Driving School. It was their long establishment of over 40 years that was the deciding factor for me and decided to give them a go. I passed my Part 2 and Part 3 all first time thanks to my trainer Nathan. I am now working with Mutual Driving School and feel a big part of the family.

I have been a driving instructor with Mutual Driving School now for 30 years!!!
I trained with them back in the 1980’s and things were a lot different to the current qualification process!! The main attraction to becoming a driving instructor was the fact I could work the hours that suited me and I always liked meeting new people on a daily basis and the satisfaction I got from teaching someone a new skill for life. Even to date, new students come to me having been recommended by their Mum and Dad that passed with me many years ago.

I would have to give Mutual Driving School and big thumbs up!!
I started my training with them back in 1999 and have been with them ever since and now a senior ADI and Driver Trainer. I love my job, not many people can say that. It’s so rewarding to be able to choose my own hours that suit my family commitments which works great for me as I spend some days up in Lincolnshire with the family.
If you want to have great training and work with a great driving school then look no further than Mutual Driving School. Cliff.

Great family run driving school and I have been with them now for some 28 years.
The time has flown by and seems like only yesterday that I started working with them when they opened their first office back in Stratford and have been with them as they have grown to become London’s premier driving school – keep up the good work.
