About Mutual Driving School — Established 1976

Teaching East London since 1976

Mutual has helped generations of learners build driving skills across East London. Our long history is supported by a 4.8 Google rating and 1,300+ reviews, as well as real pupil feedback and a pass gallery you can explore.

Manual and automatic lessons

We offer tuition with DVSA-registered instructors for complete beginners, learners moving from another school and people returning after a break. The lesson plan starts with your experience and goals, then develops as your skills improve.

The support that fits your goal

Choose regular lessons, ask about an intensive plan or arrange refresher tuition for particular roads and journeys. Nervous learners can discuss their concerns and work at a manageable pace.

Clear prices and booking

Manual weekday lessons start from £35 per hour and automatic weekday lessons from £37 per hour. The one-hour introductory trial is £20 plus a £5 booking fee: £25 total. Other services and lesson times have their own rates, which we will confirm.

Find an instructor in your area
