Send us the date, time, test centre, transmission and a summary of your driving experience. An assessment is needed before we can confirm suitable support. We cannot promise a car or instructor for a short-notice test without checking readiness and availability.
Book and manage your own test
Under the current DVSA rules, learners must book and manage their own car driving tests through GOV.UK. Instructors cannot book a test on your behalf. Use the official service and read the latest rules before making or changing an appointment.
Speak to your instructor first
Agree when you are realistically likely to be ready, which test centres your instructor covers and whether they are available. Ask for their instructor reference number to use when booking. Choose a centre you intend to use because moving a booking is now restricted.
Prepare after an unsuccessful test
Bring your test feedback so your instructor can identify the skills that need work. Focused lessons can help with observation, junction decisions, manoeuvres or confidence, followed by a review of readiness before another attempt.
Finding a cancellation
Use the official GOV.UK service to check appointments yourself. Availability changes and is outside our control. We do not guarantee cancellation slots or recommend unofficial scanning services. Read the current DVSA guidance for change limits and other booking conditions.
